For my friends.

The reason for this blog is twofold. Firstly, to share my wonderful experiences with you at your leisure and to keep me feeling in touch with you during my long absence from home. If any of you find a way to type an Aussie accent, I would be really appreciative! Don't forget to check out "older posts" at the bottom.

Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy it from time to time.

South East Queensland - "Beautiful one day perfect the next."

Taking another chance to leave the big smoke behind, we headed north to Noosa on the Sunshine Coast for the day.  It's about two hours drive but ...... Wow!  There's no doubt, Noosa is the destination of the rich and beautiful but I have to congratulate then on their choice of playground.  No high rise, relaxed atmosphere and the spectacular Noosa National Park.  Really great food for the soul.  Have a look for yourself.

We walked for about two hours but it didn't seem that long until we started to think about lunch and then we realised we were STARVING.  So we had a wondrous walk on a glorious day and followed by a delicious seafood lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  I'm telling you, it doesn't get much better than that.

This way to San Francisco.

Blue, blue and more blue.

The thunder of the Pacific reaching Australia.

Some action on the nudist beach.

Noosa's version of the Devil's Kitchen.

Nature's oun sculpture.

A resting place for thought and appreciation.

Sit in the shade and watch the world go by.

Anyone for a trip to Noosa?
